I’m not sure. Is she married? Didn’t you say she went off to Texas A&M? Or was that just wild rumor?
I truly hate the word “ignominious”. By the time you’ve finished sounding it out three times in your head, you’ve lost the impact of the whole sentence and then you have to read that three times over.
